The Consulate General of Nepal, Chengdu organized Dashain Festival on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami 2079, at the Consulate premises on 5 October 2022. Nepali nationals along with their family members residing in Consulate jurisdiction (Sichuan, Guizhou, and Chongqing) were invited to participate in the event. After exchanging greetings and putting tikas, Nepali Community members shared their views about their works and experiences in China. During the program, the Consul General assured Nepali Communities prompt services, cooperation, and needful support from the Consulate side. He also requested Nepali communities to remain in contact and support other Nepali under the Consulate jurisdiction to be connected with the Consulate. Nepali Communities expressed happiness and gratitude towards Nepal Government and the Consulate General for organizing such festival, which made them feel like home though actually being far away from home. Nepali Communities were engaged in various entertainment activities and fully enjoy their time in the Consulate. The Consulate General hosted luncheon for the Nepali communities participating in the programme.
