The Consulate General of Nepal in Chengdu organized an event to mark the Nepali New year 2079 at Kathmandu Restaurant in Chengdu yesterday. Nepalis residing in Chengdu along with few Chinese friends attended the event. The program started with the sharing of seasons greetings by the Consul General. It was followed by entertainment program. Nepalis attending the event exchanged new Year Greetings with each other and Chinese friends also extended their warm wishes on the occassion. Typical Nepali dinner set “Thali” was served during the event. Altogether 32 people participated in the program.
